Good material and holds the 14" MacBook Pro steady.
I like what they have done by making this product future proof. They made it so that future versions of the MacBook Pro or other MacBook models would fit and be snug. I had an older model (wood), but my new M3 MacBook would not fit in it.
I’ve had the aluminum BookArc for almost 15 years and have bought inserts 3 times as laptops evolved. Twelve South have eliminated a revenue stream because by all accounts I’ll never have to replace the Flex!
What almost turned me off, but is actually interesting, is the Flex holds many sizes of laptop even at 25 degree angles so you kind of guide it to be upright. In a tight space the angle can buy some height.
