Just how sturdy is BookArc Flex?
BookArc Flex holds most laptops with up to a 14-inch screen and under 1-inch thick, perfectly sturdy. But use common sense; if your office is in a bumpy construction zone, or you have cats walking all over your desk and they have knocked down items before, you might want an entirely different style stand like our Twelve South Curve Flex.
Also note: We recommend you set your laptop into BookArc Flex as straight as possible (90 degrees to the desk), as BookArc will not correct an improperly placed laptop.
With these considerations, we find BookArc Flex to be a beautiful and sturdy vertical stand for your MacBook or laptop.
Will I need to purchase inserts when upgrading to a newer machine?
As long as it is within the compatible dimensions, BookArc Flex will work with any laptop you have now or that you may buy in the future. No ifs, ands or add-ons!

Elegant in it’s Simplicity

The stand works perfectly to hold my MacBook Air while connected to a large monitor, saving desk space while aiding cooling. The design uses the weight of the laptop to securely “clamp” it in place. Very well designed and fabricated.

Looks Great!

I love my JP- made MacBook Air, except for the narrow keyboard width. Top this with the anime decals I placed on the protective case I added and it was high time to find both a good way to store the laptop and show off the decals (once I get a full sized keyboard). I bought this stand because of the simplicity and ease of use. It looks great; not clunky or obvious.
